Re: Kenzie x ST's Foma
I really must share how big and beautiful Geordy has become. He has QUITE the coat of hair! He even has tufts on his front legs! He looks a bit like a Mammoth when he walks.
Here he is at 1 1/2 months:

Attachment 36820
I will be testing to see if he is EE or Ee soon, but I *suspect* EE because of how dark he is on the sides where the hair is not as long. Isn't he lovely?

He looks great! I've not yet seen a breeder in the US produce a LH hamster that closely relates to the LH show hams here. That's a good length! You'll produce some good LH hams if you use him to sire future litters

Re: Kenzie x ST's Foma
Geordy's Sire is from UK and Malta imported stock and is why the coat is a major improvement over here.

I wish I could go to a UK show. Maybe someday...
This is probably the longest coat of hair I've had on a hamster, and he is not even 2 months old yet! I'm pretty excited about him, and will be MORE so if he proves to be EE.
I waited for a long time for a yellow-black, and I'm very happy that he is ending up being worth the wait.

Re: Kenzie x ST's Foma
Wonder if the pretty long hair is coming from the chocolates side. i have one YB boy and one Yellow boy that look like little wooly mammoths I attached the pic of Shiloh II (yellow), he looks like he has no legs lol.
Ha! just saw nancy's post, so probably is from the chocolates side.
