Parting is such sweet sorrow. The baby boys have said their last good-bye to their Mom and sister. Elisa is allowing her Daughter to stay with her so unless there is a conflict the two will remain together until little girl goes for a 3 hour drive from here to her forever home. Her new owner is very excited to be getting her next week. The two boys didn't seem to upset at becoming Bachelors All thanks to a Wodent Wheel lol.
While I did a full clean out of the tank I had Mom and all three pups in the Boys new bin, and had a great laugh at all four hamsters getting in and running as a 4 wheel drive group. Thought you all would enjoy a bit of the fun.
The boys figured out what this new thing was very quickly
But then Mom got in LOL
But they soon learned to run with Mom and weeeee
But then Mom got greedy and the boys tried to stop the wheel to get in.
Are you all wondering where little girl was at during all this fun?
Stuffing her face with food is where she was.
They did all manage to get in the wheel together
Elisa says 3 pups in a wheel is too much and I'm getting out of here.
The girls show the two boys how it is done.
I am still debating on if I should keep any of the boys from this litter. Main issue is, even though they are all lovely, and have beautiful coats, and are a great size, they all are Chocolate Yellows or Yellows that are cream masked or have Cream carried in them. The new owner of the girl has been kind enough to allow little girl to have one litter when old enough so the lines from this litter will not be lost. The cream used in the Rust lines is OK so I could run on with a male to improve the Rust lines, BUT he would still be producing Yellow lines which have cream.
Here are the Boys in hand:
Darker Boy
Lighter Boy

Other factor in keep or pet out for the boys is I have some REALLY nice males in the C-16 litter and I have a new male coming to ST's next Saturday that will be slightly related 4 generations back of any Rust line hamster I have so I have to regulate my numbers. I also still have Mom who is young enough to have another litter too.
