I want her to get out, just to see if she's ok. I heard so many stories and i'm so scared... I'm not gonna touch her nest, or babies... I want them to be healthy, strong and playfull like their mom... Thank you for your support.. I really need it!

At night/early evening try offering a treat, veg or some sunflower seeds. Put them far enough from the nest so she comes right out and hopefully stays out long enough to look into the nest (through the hole she comes out of). The babies are hairless and often pink.

When the mum is out of the nest you may see the nesting material moving, indicating pups in the nest. The pups may make noises too so listen carefully.

If she hasn't had pups she will spend more time out of the nest exploring, climbing etc. When pups are in the nest and Young the mum only leaves them for a short while to get food, water and go to the toilet. Try to learn her routine as this is when you may be able to see any pups.

Just a thought, are there any illnesses that could look like pregnancy, I know hams can get womb infections and blockages in their intestines but dont know much more. The others might be able to help. The fact she's so young makes it unlikely to be a womb infection I think but you do need to check on her. Wait till she comes out for food and have a good look. It's good she has built a huge nest, that's a good sign anyway.

She was out for about 5 minutes. I break my neck trying to see something but nope.. Not a move, not a soud. She's still looking like a furry little ball..

I would make sure she has plenty of food and water aswell as a big pile of toilet roll as said earlier and just leave her to it. Checking her so much could be putting her off. I do not have any experience at all either (only owned a hamster for two months) so I can understand you wanting to check all the time but in my experience with other animals, particularly Red my corn snake, they seem to prefer being set up then left to their own devices. After all, it's what the evolved to do.

She may be preparing the nest a few days before the babies are born. So keep and eye on her behaviour etc, but don't disturb her too much.

If you keep trying it will disturb the Mom and she will eat her babies if any are there. Best thing to do is offer her a good source of protein(Meal worms) and plenty of veg and good quality hamster seed mix, and leave her alone. Your anticipation, and constant attempts to look will cause her more harm then the birthing of pups. If she has pups she will stay in the nest at first almost all the time, she knows the pups need her warmth and milk to grow strong. So stop panicking it will only make you miserable. In due time if there are pups you will hear them and when they outgrow the nest you will see them.

No changing the cage bedding or even spot cleaning for at least 2 weeks as if there are pups any distrubance of anything in the cage could and usually does cause Mom to fear for her pups which will cause her to dispose of them.

I'm not so scared anymore. I saw her eating and drinking. In the morning i was scared becouse she didn't touch her food... Now we are fine.. Thank you again for your support and advice!
