Re: Vectis Baby Boom (hopefully)
So far so not good
Unfortunately Griff died a few days before his litters were due, and it looks like none (!) of the syrians have had pups. I've been leaving them be, just in case, and I've been seeing the mums up and about. I'd be very surprised if there's anything in the nests of Sphynx or Dryad. I'll be having a proper check tonight.
The Chineseys likewise aren't looking hopeful, though Winford and Niton are still together and Mottistone is still within her due dates. I paired Astere up with another girl so she's hopefully cooking. Unfortunately Astere is also no longer with us so I really hope that Sumti gives me some pups.

Re: Vectis Baby Boom (hopefully)
I'm really sorry to hear about Griff and Astere.
It's a shame things aren't looking too promising on the puppy front although I have my fingers crossed that it won't be too long before you'll be welcoming some lovely new little ones to your hamstery.

Oh Vectis I am so sorry that you have lost Griff, your beautiful champion, and without him becoming a dad. Fingers crossed that something works out for you this time round.

Re: Vectis Baby Boom (hopefully)
I'm going to be trying again with my Chinese over the next week. Two of my boys are currently on loan, but I'll be borrowing them back again next weekend! It's more Spring-like here so I'm hoping the boom will happen this time. Winford and Niton are still together and growing up so perhaps they'll feel ready to give me some pups in the near future.
I borrowed a lovely ham from Tuftyfluff yesterday - Tywin. Here's hoping for cinnie pups this time around!

Re: Vectis Baby Boom (hopefully)
Astere's wife Sumti has pups in the nest I'm so relieved as none of the other Chinese I paired at the same time took and it would be such a shame for him to have left no pups. I'm expecting 50% dom spots and 50% BEWs. They were only born today so it's still early days and I have everything crossed that they make it.

Re: Vectis Baby Boom (hopefully)
Great news on the Austere/Sumti pups! I hope they do well. It's so sad you lost Griff and Astere - I hope these little new ones can carry on a bit of Astere.
