Exclamation Rejected hamster care + train travel? Need advice

Hello!
So I'm now caring for a 1 week old little baby hamster of a rejected/eaten nest, I could only save just this one and I hope it'll live. I'm feeding it and all seems to go well for now.
Thing is, this whole weekend I want/need to go somewhere, by train. And I can't leave the little hamster alone obviously, and I don't trust someone else to care for it.. Can I take it with me? Will it survive the 1 hour train ride and noises and all that? And How will I take him, he's small so I could use a small travel box to keep him in this weekend, but I don't know if that's right for the hamster?
I'd really like some advice on this from you people here
Thanks

I don't think that's a good idea at all. Is there any way you can stay to look after them? If there is no way then you might have to see how it does and do your best to keep them comfortable.

It could harm the pup as it would be in a whole new environment and different sounds and smells etc. It could bring on Wet Tail from stress related things.

I think it's a bad idea to take the pup anywhere. Hamsters don't travel well at the best of times and this one is just a baby. If it's not 100% essential I would just not go until your baby hammy is older. That's parenthood for you! No social life lol. You said you want/need to go somewhere. Unless it is a situation like you can't tell your boss you can't do your job because you're looking after a hamster then best just not go. If it is work and you can't get out of it then you might have to just leave it for the week-end and put food and water out before you go.

At only 7 days old they won't be able to just leave food and water as the pup isn't even leaving the nest at that age.
