Default I just got a baby hammy!

I've posted here before, where I was asking about my two hamsters, cause they kept breeding and having no babies.
A lot of the replies said they were probably both males dominating each other, but nuh uh!
I just noticed a little hamster baby!
This is really lucky cause last time I cleaned their cages there were no babies, and now I just saw this hamster baby old enough to go outside and look around with its tiny eyes! I'm really excited!
I have never had babies before xD. I really did think they were both males, but seems like Baby was a girl after all!
Does anyone have any advice what to do next? Am I allowed to clean the cage soon?
I'm all new to this! I assume I'm gonna have to buy an extra cage so they don't get more hammies!

I don't even know if there are more babies than one. Luckily I haven't had much to do with my two hamsters lately, cause the male, Pearl, (he's called that cause once I thought he was a female, that's what the petstore said, and still haven't thought of a better name, so he's still just Pearl xD) started biting a whole lot which made it quite difficult to get their foodbowl out of the cage x(. Now I know why he was so defensive! I forgive him now XD!

New update! =D
Here's a video of the baby with its father, Pearl. The mother is running the wheel. I named the baby Cotton.

New update again! xD
Here are some piccies of the mum, dad and baby, since people have asked for them, and a video of them, plus my cat who is in heat xD and my other hamster who is desperately waiting for his new and bigger cage =). The baby looks bigger already, and it's only about 3-4 days ago already I took the pictures of him and the video. Enjoy!

The daddy (is bigger now):

I really don't know you or a lot about hamsters really BUT I remember you posting before. You really didn't listen to any of the advice did you..? And how long is it since you last cleaned out your hams if you have only just noticed a baby wandering around with its eyes open? And yes please split up Mum and Dad now as I think its only a very short time after birthing before they are ready to mate again. Also one is a very small litter and Mum or Dad may have killed the others in order to cope...but of course check, although you would probably have seen others. They normally wander out of the nest before their eyes are open, once they have opened their eyes you can carefully clean the nest.

I'm sure someone else with more knowledge and experience will offer some advice for the sake of these poor hamsters of yours.

What you mean I didnt listen to the advice? They never did fight and have ANY problems. It must be about 2 weeks ago I think since I last cleaned it and she must have been pregnant by then. I can't exactly split them up yet as I don't have a cage for each of them yet. There is also only one, I have checked and cleaned the cage and given them my other hamster's big cage. And why are they poor hamsters? o_o

I was referring to the advice about not breeding indiscriminately with hamsters you know nothing about genetically. If you were a responsible hamster owner then you would find a cage somewhere to prevent problems occuring - more babies being the first to mind. They aren't toys to play games with. I don't even know why I am replying you'll do what you want to do anyway....

Hi.
There is some information on the wiki about breeding hamsters. You should definitely get a spare cage for the male now to prevent future pregnancy.

It is more than likely that the female is already pregnant again as dwarf hamsters mate immediatly after birth. The new litter will be due in around seven days I think so you have plenty time to remove the male before he can mate agoin with her and you will have yet another lot on the way. This is very bad for the female as her body will become very run down. I am not sure what type your hamsters are. The look like either a black eyed white campbells and a normal campbells or a Pearl WW and a ?normal WW. I hope they are not one of each as hybrid breeding is not a good idea. They could both be hybrids also.
The baby looks well enough though and you should continue the good feeding with plenty protein. Once the male is removed you can sex the pup if you can. A female can stay with mum and a male can be introduced back to dad at around 4 weeks. Watch them carefully to be sure he accepts his son.

Not sure which breed of Hamsters you are talking about. If they are Dwarf Hamsters then the Male will definately have mated the Mum on day of giving birth. Yikes When the Mums babies reach 18 days to 3 wks old she may kill any babies left with her as she feels they might be a threat to the next litter. I have been breeding Dwarf Hamsters for quite a while so also know to get the Father out as Mummy will get exhausted having 3 litters in a row. Accidents always happen as we know & the deed is now done. If you have a housing problem, how about making a bin cage for Dad & another for the babies when they're old enough. Good luck with all.

Easy now. Breeding indiscriminately? I am not breeding indiscriminately. I was never trying to breed them in the first place, as the petstore with their lack of knowledge said they were both females. As I saw them trying to mate and never having a litter I thought maybe they just couldn't have a litter and there was no damage done. If they were both males and they were doing it to dominate the replies here said they were most likely fighting too. As I've been watching them through whole nights a lot I know they have never been fighting and that they work very well together and thought it wasn't worth spending a lot of money on a new cage if they were fine.
It's odd you're making me sound like an irresponsible hamster owner, as you don't really have much facts other than my two hamsters suddenly had one baby. If they're stressed out for some reason I didn't cause it, they have plenty of space and calm and quiet, so I wouldn't know what the problem would be. I got two other male hamsters who started fighting and I put them apart in seperate cages, so obviously I care. If you think I'm irresponsible you should see other hamster owners, especially those who just buy them for their kids and basically leave them to rot. I at least check up on them often and give a damn. I know animals aren't toys, I love animals. I do not just do what I want, I just bought two new cages from the net to prevent further pregnancies but that is really all I can do. They got no where else to stay but together until I get the cages. I'm even poor and buying two cages is a lot of money, but I care. So please, give me a little slack, I've been trying to do right here. They are much safer at my place than at a petstore, where they can't even sex them properly and leave them together, so everyone can go home with a pregnant hamster.
I know you care about hamsters, but I'm not irresponsible. I don't know everything about hamsters, but I try .. Just the fact that I joined a forum only about hamsters would indicate I'm a little dedicated.

Thanks for the reply! I just bought new cages from the net (they are the cheapest and the biggest size, compared to pet stores' prices and size), so I'm all on it! Oh, and the baby is a little boy, so maybe he'll live with his dad one day he's old enough xD.

Thanks for your reply. I've ordered cages, so I'll remove him as soon as I possibly can. I wouldn't want my poor hamster to be all worn out. They are both dwarf hamsters, though the female is totally white. I wouldn't know much about the different dwarf hamster races. I don't know much about hybrids, why is it bad? I've sexed it and I'm sure it's a little boy. I'll remember to watch the dad and the boy carefully when they may have to share cages one day. Thanks for your answer, it's very helpful x).
