It's not the correct name for a species. I see breeders as professional, so when a breeder doesn't use the correct name for a species it brings suspicion to my mind on how educated they really are on hamsters.

Pet shops have very limited knowledge on hamsters compared to those who breed them. They also just use those names to encourage children to want one, it's a way of making money which i think is really wrong.

Also where did you get the Winter whites from? I'd love to see pictures!
