I have a tortoiseshell with white and was wondering what i will get if i breed her to the following.

1) satin cream
2) golden dominant spot
3) mink
4) dove banded

which combi would i get more tortoiseshell out of it or there'll be none at all? if not, what can i breed her with to get more tortoiseshell?

What colour tort is she? You get various colours eg black tort, golden tort, dove tort. It all depends on what colour tort you have and what she and the male are carrying in their genetic makeup. Do you have pedigrees for them?

i've gotten her from her breeder but she has stopped breeding her syrians already.

uh... what's a "calico"? That's not a hamster colour or pattern.

You'd need to put her to a black, i'd think. Or even better, a yellow black, but they are rarer.

I take it you've researched breeding and know the right age to breed her etc.?

I think you mean Calico as in a calico cat? Calico cats are white, yellow and black in patches and I would describe this as a tort & white in the UK
To get this colour from your female you would need a black male as she is already a black tort and white. You should not breed her to another pattern. As bunsey said a yellow black also would do but again how many black tort & whites you get very much depends on the size of the litter and what recessive genes both parents carry. As you do not have pedigrees you could not predict this and may end up with a very mixed litter.
I emphasise, no other pattern as she may carry Wh, which could cause her to have eyeless white babies.
You need to research carefully and she should not be bred if she is over around 7 months max.

thanks for the help.
i think i'll probably have to find her a black. yellow black are pretty rare here.
she's about 3 months now. I'll probably breed her when she's 4-5months if i manage to find a nice black for her.

dont worry, this is not my first time breeding hamsters.
i've experiences with my dwarfs before. i'll read up more on syrians breeding and genetics thou.
thanks once again !
