Default Pregnant Syrian

So I've recently had a hamster breeding...hopefully you guys aren't like hamsterhouse and going to hate me and basically say "I did wrong" see breeding over there,or how I feel, you are like a sinner..but enough about that.

Since this is my very first breeding(13 days to go) I've done hours among hours of research and found many things.I was just wondering if you have any useful tips/treats/anything for me?

Thanks a lot,
Kaylee

i think maybe it would be a bit more helpful to ask specific questions really as it would take about 2 hours for someone to type out all the info they know about breeding

Welcome! If Mum is still pregnant I'd recommend porridge and sunflower seeds.
Make sure she's in a quiet space and not disturbed.
We're ok with breeding here, I for one make sure that I have good homes for all my babies to go to (the few that I don't keep) and keep in touch to see how they're doing and give advice to the owners.
Any questions, just ask.
Let us know what the parents names are and how Mum gets on.

At Custard Hamstery we only breed when we know we can home the babies. What colours are the parents?
We try and keep handling minimal for the mother to be so as not to stress her. When the babies arrrive we leave them strictly alone. During pregnancy we feed extra protein like egg, chicken, tofu, cooked pasta, baby food, porridge etc to be sure the babies grow nice and strong.
Never disturb the nest for the sake of photos. We don't allow pics of babies without eyes open on HC,
Good luck with the babies.

what are the recessives? That combo could get you anything, really, depending on the recessives. Pet shop hams always have tons of recessive genes.

sounds like you still could get anything. It depends what the umbrous golden carried and what the umbrous brown actually was, as there's no such colour. If the golden carries cream then you'll get creams.
