Anyone know if there are any hamster shelters near Chicago? I was wondering or at least a website for it.

Check PetFinder.com You'll need to click small animals and what city and state your in and if any shelters are by you they will show up and then you have to click on each ad to see the Hamsters available.

I looked and it seems the closest to you would be Southbend IN.

Hi, I'm in Chicago, too! I am having the same problem. Let me know if you find any places to adopt. I need someplace within the city, as I have no car. Unfortunately, I am having no luck at the moment.

I have found a breeder on Craigslist and I think that he is probably a good choice. Also if you want closer searches, put in your zip code, example- 69750 it will pop up and give you a larger list with closer finds.
