No worries Nancy, the pups come first! I hope she is doing okay, prayers and warm wishes.

The pups are getting to be huge - they seem about half the length of Darissa when they lie on her. I can only imagine how Iris is doing!

I'm glad the explanation was good! I took a look at the bowl, and I see it now - her head is more pointy. Arya seems to have a blunter face, and actually so does the golden. I think the two yellow males are good in head size, and the Ee yellow might be a bit narrow too.

Will try to get some pictures of the girls - they were out earlier for a quick weigh but I didn't handle them too much. Chai was in a seemingly bad mood, and was not too happy to be woken up, but soon got over it with some rice puffs.

Got some pictures of the yellows, wondering your thoughts on their head shapes Nancy. First up is Amaretto (our male keeper), who posed pretty well for pictures in hand, surprisingly!



He didn't want to take a profile, so I put him in the "baby bowl" to grab some more.

Of course they were blurry.



I grabbed Raggie (the sister) since I remember you said one had a really nice looking head. Hoping I can see the differences in these pics myself.

Hopefully those kinda help. Amaretto is a smidgen bigger than her now.

Amaretto has a big wide head then his sister, and his sister has a bit Narrower head at this time BUT they all go through growth spurts which make them look snipey and long. Camera angles can also distort the looks of a Hamster. Amar has nice width between the ears, and defo the better ticking of the two. IF I had a way to get her and Zika didn't get her I would happily take Raggie or Almandine(?) here.

Ahhh yay, glad to hear it! Both are doing well.

Both girls would be great - Almandine is the Ee yellow, so you're spot on there! They're all very cute, and got a few cute pics of them tonight playing.

Americano <3 I've got such a soft spot for plain ol' golden hams, haha. I totally follow your posts on FB so just about every day I'm like 'I wish I had room for another hamster' but all of these guys are just too cute!! <3 I love love love reading about them.

... you can always fit another ham! My SO loves the little guy and I'd love to see him go to a stellar home. He's the sweetest of the bunch at the moment, and getting bigger by the day. My SO wants to keep him, but he knows we can't.

Babies are bigger today - Almandine is at 53 (along with Raggie and Amaretto), and Mini-Dar is leading the pack at 60g. I swear, it's something in the water, I tell ya.
