Talking Kittie Boo and Quincie's New Litter

For the past few weeks I've been giddy with excitement over Kittie/Quincie's babies and now that their eyes are open I can share the squeaky little fluffballs!

I'm new here so heres a quick reminder of Kittie and Quincie

Kittie (Mum)

And their eleven babies! I removed them from Kittie's box so she could have five minutes to herself.

These babies go crazy for porridge and cuddling each other in a big old pile.

I was wondering, because Quincie is LH will any of the pups also become LH? I have a feeling that read somewhere that both parents mush be LH for the pups to be LH but i guess i'm hoping i might have made that up?
Also what are some good toys/activities can give the babies to do in the mama cage to keep them entertained or will they just keep them selves entertained with all the exploring and such?
Thank you!

They are lovely. All the pups will carry for longhair, unless momma also carried long hair. Longhair is a homozgyous gene, so it must be present twice (ll) to show on the babies. So if mum is short hair, carrying long hair, the babies have a chance to be long hair.

While I'm bad with babies on fur lengths, and it's harder to tell on females especially this young, one cinnie pup looks like s/he may have longer hair... but besides that they all look short haired to me.

It turned pout that most of the babies had long hair! I have kept only one of them (i gave the others to my friend's dad's pet shop) and she has the most softest fur. she's one of the ones with darker patches mixed it.
