Default Healthy Snacks for Nursing Hamsters

I was wondering what a good addition/snack would be for Jill, my nursing hamster, in addition to the chicken she gets every night. Someone on another forum said I should give her bread soaked in milk.

I tried giving her a small bowl of wheat bread soaked in milk (twice) and she didn't seem to like it; she took two sips of the milk and was done.
I am going to give celery every night with the chicken too, but I was wondering what else is healthy for her right now, since she is caring for eight baby hamsters after three other litters; it must be taxing her body and I want her to stay healthy and happy.

Thanks,
Katie

They enjoy little bits of egg white (boiled egg), some cooked pasta, cubes of tofu, a bowl of baby porridge or baby food, dark greens like brocolli and spinach are useful for the iron content. The babies will also take all these chopped up fine when they start earing

Thanks souffle! I'll give Jill spinach tonight with her 'meal' and see how she likes it. Maybe egg tomorrow morning so that she has something all the time.
