Introducing the first litter from Grantabrugge Hamstery, the "Halls". These babies are 20 days old today and getting ready to leave their mother by practicing digging, pouching and wrestling all day and night. Five of the pups had their eyes fully open last Friday, but I have been waiting for the little Honey girl to catch up - I have included a separate picture of her showing her open eyes as she still likes to keep them shut some of the time if her big brothers are playing roughly nearby!
The cross was between Paradise New Hall, a BEC Roan carrying Cinnamon and Yellow and Pick n Mix Hughes Hall, a Honey-Black male, intending to produce Cinn, Cinntort, Honey and Yellow each carrying e, a and p. However, it looks like Hugh was already stealthily carrying e as we have a Golden boy, a Cinntort girl, 2 Yellow boys, a Honey girl....and a BEC Roan boy taking after his mother!
I am keeping the CinnTort but the others are all to be rehomed - I have some interested potential owners and am also advertising them as pets in the Cambridge area, as I won't be able to get to a hamster show for a couple of months at the earliest.
