Default I found the girl hamster in the boys cage. (please no more babies!)

Well, please dont think im a terrible owner for this. We left yesterday to go to my sisters college to get her room ready etc. Its about an hour and a half/2 hours so I expected to get home in a few hours. Well, something happened to where we had to stay the night and couldnt get home till the next day. I wasnt at all suspecting to have to stay and there was nothing I could do. (I was so worried about the hams) when we came back we found one of the girls, that somehow got out of her cage, in the corner of the boys cage!! Oh no. I pray to god I wont have more ham babies!

So I really dont know what to do. I know they are in heat every 5th to 6th day? How do I tell if shes going to have babies now? The weird thing is she somehow got out, must of jumped to the window sill, (a pretty long jump) jumped a longer jump to the bed (yeah the hamster cage was on the bed, cause I was cleaning the floor and left him there when we left) And soomeeehow climbed into his cage which would involve her climbing on stuff to get in.

Shes about 18 weeks old (when will that girl be able to come get some?)
Is that too young to have babies anyway? (safely) If she does have babies is there anyone that could take care of her? My sister thinks I should give her to petco, but that is a no for me!

When I made that post about maybe breeding hamsters one day, I meant ONE day, not TOday!
Please cross your fingers she will not have babies!

(Why does this stuff keep happening to my hams? Ugh! Makes me sound like I put them in cardboard boxes!)

Unfortunately she is old enough to potentially be pregant so all you can do is watch and hope she's not. If she is she may start to show or build a nest and stuff, but that'd be a while away.
There is loads of good advice on the forum for unexpected litters though, so hopefully even if she is pregnant you'll be able to help her raise the pups ok anyway.

I'm crossing my fingers hoping she wont be does the girl have some kind of relation with the males? I mean are they siblings? Well I once had an unexpected litter of babies, I was really really confused and upset, but I ended up loving all of them, I cant even rehome them to new owners since I cant find anyone that's reliable enough who can love the hams as much as I do. So, I'm keeping them lol. I hope everything goes well for you and the girl! xx

For future reference most hamsters can climb up onto a bed if it is against a wall or there are trailing bedsheets near the floor.

They are siblings.
But yeah I know, its hard to give them away because you want somebody to care for them really well.

Now I have to choose 1girl and 1 boy to give to somebody today (about 2 hours away, we're going to my sisters college again and shes next to it.)

My sister chose 1 girl, so I have to give her either flutter or the one that got in the boys cage.

Is it so unlikely that she'll have babies that I can give her to her? I really like Flutter and was maybe going to keep her (or give her to my friend that might want a hamster)
