its because of that slight change in colour that its not reconised as ivory. but I feel it should be the true ivory as dark grey carries bone issues and kinked tail, so it could pass onto the pups (but you would know from the breeder if it carries kinked tail)

I love the silver sables! I have never seen them over here (knowingly!!) but they have such a beautiful tone to their fur!!!

having baby hams about just makes life a lot happyer mine are now 8 week old, and dont look like babys anymore they look as though they could have been from my first litter! XD

i cant get over your ivorys, i really cant! Its like offering what i tried so hard for on a plate, then taking it away overseas! :O
You all are so funny and supportive!

Vanilla -

I know the standard and many of my (sg) Ivories have a cream look to them, but I have started selecting the lighter ones and now have a female and one of her daughters that are (sg) Ivory but have no creamy tint to them. See the attached pics!

Do you have pics of your litter to share?

Thanks!
Stephanie

they are gorgeous! I didnt get to have any ivorys, but the photos i have seen of them look just like the mother there so selective breeding could help make the line look true to standard I have seen some other sgsg ivorys on a forum dedicated to breeding and showing, they where between the two colours in the 2nd pic, satin and some lh

i still cant get over them.... i would so cross the water for them...
