Default Satins out of nothing

I've been looking for satins for years, and I accidentally bred some! I bred Smoky to a female I got for my birthday, Katniss, and it seems both were carrying the recessive satin gene. Here are the babies with mom.

Lucky accident! So you didn't know they were carrying the satin genes?

What cuties! Don't know anything about hamster genetics so I can't be all 'blah blah satin blah blah blah' but they are soooo cute!

I've had Smoky almost 2 years and had no clue he had a satin gene. I didn't know what genes Katniss was carrying, either, since I just got her in April. She threw lilacs, doves, REA, and satins. Only the red eye argentes were satin, though. I'm very happy with them. There happens to be a male and a female satin, too
