Thank you for the tips everyone. I've been making a scrambled egg every morning and they all just eat it up.

I just got home from work and everyone is doing fine. The three adult females all have visible nipples now. 2-3 days ago they had swollen tummies, but only the black one had nipples showing.

I'm so glad all your hammies are doing well! What do you expect you'll be doing with them now? Selling them at the pet shop?

Yes, they will probably all be going back to the store. Next week I am planning on taking the original babies to the store. Next week will be two weeks that we've had them and they having been eating/drinking on their own since we've had them and they and have grown a lot. I wish I knew their actual age.

I've considered keeping 1-2 females as pets, because they are all so cute! But I will be moving into a smaller house this summer and I think 3 gerbils and 5 dogs will be a lot already. Plus it always leaves me open to take care of any more pregnant animals we get at the store.

The past couple of days, the 5 original babies have had a grows-burg, they are almost the same size as the female adults now.

It's so great you took these on! They are so sweet!
It's amazing how quick the babies grow isn't it =)
Do they all seem to get on as a group?

The 5 babies went back to the feed store today. The 4 week-olds have fur now. They are so cute. I'm so excited to watch them grow up.

Thanks Jodzie They do all get along, there is occasional wrestling, but no actual fighting.
