New variation of Robo?
Hi guys, I just bought a pair of roborovskis. One of it have strips of white fur on both shoulders, make it obviously different from the other one. I'm just wondering if this variation is common, and if it is considered a different coating from normal agouti?
I've done research and so far known variation for robos are agouti, husky/white-faced, and platinum. Any opinion guys?
Will post the photos later if necessary, and until I get hold of a camera

Re: New variation of Robo?
You can get mottled robos too they have patches of brown on the white and it's random where the markings are I think they sounds super cute though

Re: New variation of Robo?
Here's my drawn picture of him:
And this is an old pic of him (on the left)...when I just adopted him, though the line is not really visible because his fur is not dry...
Pied is it? Hmmm...wierd because in his batch (at the pet shop) there's only agouti robos, and the reason I pick him up because he looks different.

Re: New variation of Robo?
BTW NaomiR, your robos are super cute
AngelAmes, I forgot there's pied/mottled robos...
Hehehe...but the thought of me discovering a new robo mutation is awesome (though it might be just wishful thinking) :P

Re: New variation of Robo?
They are lovely - That isn't fluffy bedding is it Naomi? I just remembered some terrible stories of robos and fluffy bedding both in the bowel and round their tiny feet. Wouldn't like to see them getting in trouble with it.

Re: New variation of Robo?
Ooooooooo I want one! The first pic, the lil one with his paws on the house....squeeeeeeee! They are so cute!!!
Please don't use that horrid puffy bedding. It can cause all sorts of problems including intestinal blockage and mutations if it gets wrapped around limbs.

Re: New variation of Robo?
Flamestriker, i think you mean 'amputation' not mutation. Yes it may cause it
Eleanor, I'm not that stupid to adopt without adequate knowledge. Hehe don't worry he's just sweating a lot I supposed. Have given sand bath and he's looking better
Btw just adopted another white face. So right now I have 3 variation, agouti, pied and husky. Yeay! Need to mix them properly to avoid fighting
