Yes Basia, and let me know how you get on with your mating. Re what you do with your litters. We are only on our third litter currently but have been very lucky in that we have a really good local pet shop who know we are hamster mad, and ask for our babies as they know we tame them and handle them so that they are happy to sell ours. I always plan for the possibility of keeping the litter too, but so far they have always sold our litters within a week of them going to the shop and are asking when we plan to have more!

I'm certain she won't - I've a feeling she's going to be keen given her bahaviour every fourth night!! I'm equally certain Mocha and Custard WILL be jealous (it's funny that you missed off Treacle - he's the only one that seems to show no interest in Caramel )

That's funny Souffle very cute. My partner Arti loves hamsters as much as I do, but when it comes to mating, he is very squeamish. He leaves the hamster room rather than keep an eye on the mating. When his baby girl Bramble was first mated to Spud he said that Spud had ruined her innocence!
I had to point out that every four nights Bramble puts on a show that would put any Jezzebel to shame even having taken recently to hanging upside down on her cage and singing love songs! I think that it is actually Bramble that led Spud astray!!!! PS - remind Paws to bring candles and Barry White music.

I won't be taking any tiny baby pics but once they are up and about I'm sure I'll be taking hundreds! I absolutely love Pophammy's Baison pictures - I think it would take a lot to be cuter than them though
