Not necessarily Personality hams. You see you dont just get one colour gene from each parent. You can get others as well which are lurking in the background. As cream is recessive she needed two cream genes - ee to make her cream. But if she also got say a single cinnamon gene she will carry that in her genetic make up so that if she gave that cinnamon gene to a baby and then that baby got another cinnamon from dad it would be either eepp - a red eyed cream or it may just get one cream and be epp so it would be cinnamon. They all have golden in the background as that is the wild type colour that is expressed if nothing else can 'dominate' it. It is quite complicated with recessive genes. Only one of her parents need have been banded as banded is dominant. She may have pure band symbolised by BaBa or not pure symbolised by Baba (effectively banded/nonbanded) but if she got one dominant Ba from either parent she will have to show band. However if she is bred to another Baba (Band/nonBand) and the baby gets a non band gene from both parents it will not be banded. You cannot tell by looking at a banded hamster if it is pure or not.
You can see from my example that our cream boy was carrying cinnamon as he produced a cinnamon baby.
We mated a cream band to a golden and we got 2 cream bands, 2 sables, 2 minks,1 golden, 1 umberous golden band, a cinnamon band and 2 sable bands.! Hamster genetics is not that straight forward and there are other influences at work. It is not just straight medelian laws with them.
You will just have to try and see. Maybe they will turn out all BE cream bands as every one has the same chance in the genetic mix up that occurs when you mate them and if the breeder was sure he was a pure band then they will all be banded.
I suspect I am starting to confuse myself here so please put me right anyone who knows better!!!!!
Good luck anyway
