Question Why Does Smudge Do This?

I Woke up today and i checked on Smudge and i noticed that he had managed to get a massive clump of Megazorb from his Cambridge through the tube and in his bin cage! which means he can not go into his bin cage without me cleaning his mess up every time he does it

Is he tring to tell me that he doesn't like his bin cage or was he just having a day of anger?!
and has anyone else had this?

Thanks

I think hamsters generally like to move things around

oads of hamster do this, especially in compartment cages like habitrail!
They do have those destructive mood nights, but also some do it to make themselves feel safe.
As in blocking off the entry so no one can come in

Yeah, mine does this She's still in her 3-cage Habitrail system and she has now "permanently" blocked off access to the middle cage. The top and bottom are ok with her for some reason so even though her food was in the middle cage I had to move it. I'm still working on her Zoo Zone. Then she won't have any tubes to block!

LOL.

me and smudge have come up with a plan.... i have his old water bottle that came with his cage it just fits in the tube, i push it halfway in and then smudge goes through the tube and pushes the bottle out and the tube is clear of megazorb! it really cute <3 hehe just thought id share that with you :L
