Question My Hamster Was Screaming?

Hello all,
I just got my hammy nearly 3 days ago so shes only about 8 weeks old. I was awoken to her screaming only for a short time but it was enough for me to rush over in a panic thinking something was wrong. However, when I checked on her she was asleep in her strawberry house no problem?
Was she dreaming? It wasn't a little squeak it was definitely a scream.

She has a large bin cage and lives in a pretty quiet house/room, especially around 9am the house is very quiet.

Am I doing something wrong?

They can make noises when sleeping and also as she is a baby and in a new home she may have just been scared for a moment. Give her time and space to settle in to her new surroundings.
I don't think it is anything to worry about as you found her sound asleep and no I don't think you are doing anything wrong.

Hello and welcome to HC!

I have also in the past rushed to a squeaking hamster to find him curled up and sound asleep.

Like humans, they dream so i guess they have the odd nightmare too.
