oh I just looked and found them for £7.99 on amazon. I just got a pack to try. It might go in the hamsters xmas stockings. I will probably never buy them again.

Thanks for the link but i wouldn't pay that much for a treat. What made me laugh is the 'real cheese flavour'. I give them a tiny piece of real cheese once in a while so they already have the real cheese experience, lol.

The thing that worries me about Whimzees is a lot of owners have said their dogs throw them up. Of course hamsters aren't dogs, but it makes you wonder.

I haven't heard that and I own dogs. My one dog can't have them though as he's allergic to something in them.

A hamster nibbles and chews on a Whimzee so a Whimzee lasts for ages. They don't just gobble them up like dogs sometimes do. Often they take them to their nests as their treasure.

I have not heard anything like that re whimzees and dogs or hamsters. I wonder if the dogs wolfed the whimzees down too quickly. Just a thought.

What about one of those rosewood / rattan balls with a second ball inside? Freya isn't really a chewer, but she has just about destroyed this over the last few months. (I'm just wondering if I need to get her to stop actually EATING the inside ball though. It says it's made from natural ingredients, but that doesn't mean it's okay). Sorry, can't do links, but it's available on Amazon.

Is it this one Petite? Is she actually eating the inside one or chewing it? either way it is water hyacinth, so she should be fine. I hadn't seen these ones before,I might have to get one.

Once she had chewed her way through the outer layer, she started clambering about inside it and began on the inside one. As she's eaten about half of it now, I'm relieved to know it's safe. Thank you.
