Sudden change of behaviour
Hi all,
I hope you are well and keep safe in these uncertain times.
My hamster, Buttons, is Syrian and is around 4 months old.
We had him for 2 months and everything was fine, he liked us, was happy to play with us and happy to be with us until this.
Yesterday I was taking a picture of him and drop the phone next to him, which made him a bit jumpy but he was fine then. A bit jumpy but still would come to take treats from my hand, or play with me.
But this morning, I saw that he wasn't in his usual hut, which was empty and he was in some burrow he made.
Now he is very scared and jumpy. Every time I approach my hand towards him to play with him, he jumps really easy and goes hiding. Even when I don't do anything and just sit next to the cage he runs to hide.
I am not sure what happened but this is very concerning.
If anyone has experienced this or know what this is about, please feel free to give me any indication to what can be done.
Thanks in advance
