Ok, I'm 100% about humane treatment of pets so I hope when I say I did this gently, it's clear I did it gently...almost like a whisper, but without sound. None of the measures I tried stopped the bar chewing so I very gently blew against the bars while he was chewing. He stopped within a day. Change everything else first before trying it and only try it as a last resort...does she need more space? More toys/enrichment/attention? More substrate/bedding for burrowing? Sometimes there is something that needs to be changed and this is how they let us know so that's the reason my suggestion should only be tried as a last resort.

Plain dog biscuits without garlic or onions are another option, but Whimzees are a better choice.

She's in a detolf, so blowing on the bars wouldn't really work. She was only chewing the bar in one specific place, where her nest was, so my OH wondered whether she was trying to clear it as an obstacle so she could extend her burrow. I just did a clean and put a cardboard barrier in front of the bar where she was chewing to see if that helps, and also give her something safer to chew on.
Thank you for your suggestions, as I mentioned, she's in a detolf and I can't really go bigger than that, certainly for the moment. As for enrichment... Well, she has quite a few options, but since she's still fairly new to me, I'm still learning her preferred forms of enrichment. I know she really loves tunnels and digging, so she has lots of tubes and pretty deep substrate so she can dig to her heart's content, and she spent most of the hour and a half-2 hours I was still up after sorting her cage digging her way all over various parts of the cage and experimenting with what can be climbed on, she seemed pretty happy so far.

Obviously I'll be keeping an eye on her and seeing how she gets on and whether she starts chewing anywhere else, but as I say, it really was just where her nest was.
