Quirky behaviours

Is it weird if my hamster only likes to use one cheek pouch? She will use the other one if she has too! But she prefers to use the one if she doesn't have to carry a lot of food. It is like she has a dominant pouch just like humans are right-handed and left-handed. I think it is just a quirky little behaviour haha kind of funny

Does anyone else have a hammy that does something goofy?

That’s so funny. Now that I think about it, I think my first hammy did that too! How interesting. I got a new hamster this week so I haven’t learned much about him yet. I can’t wait to see what funny stuff he does! Have a good day!

My hamster doesn’t have any fun eating habits, but she runs on the edge of her wheel so she can see where she’s going (as if she were moving) and sometimes falls off a bit haha.

A few nights ago my hamster Charlie was running super fast and I told him “Wow you are super speedy” and I guess that startled him. He was going so fast that he tripped and flung off his wheel onto his back! What a nut. (He is fine!)
He kinda just stared at me on his back like “oh shoot she just saw me do that”
and then he ran and hid behind his water bottle.
