Default Dwarf hamster upset

Hi Guys

Just looking for some advise again please.

I have had two Campbell dwarfs for 6 months who are brothers and in separate cages. Ronnie of them is a bit of a sensitive soul but the loveliest hamster ever. He would always chew the bars to come out if he heard me close and he loved coming out of his cage and running all over me and the room. 3 weeks ago I adopted another hamster from PH who was in a terrible state and because I wasn't happy with his health I didn't put them in the same room and have kept them separate, making sure I am cleaning my hands all the time.

I know it might not be because of the new hamster but Ronnie now seems to be quite scared and this has been going on for 3 weeks now. He will come onto my hand but is trying now to leave his scent on it and when he does come out he will go behind his cage and go to sleep. He runs with tummy low down and his ears down.

I know it is hard to tell without seeing him so any help would really be appreciated. He is still eating and drinking, no upset tummy and he is still exercising at night but it kind of just breaks my heart to see he has changed and wish the old Ronnie would come back.
