Ripping a snuggle pouch to shreds?
We bought Milo a snuggle pouch thing, and yesterday morning i found loads of the fur from inside ripped up and scattered about everywhere. He's doing it right now! Should i just leave him to it? Or should i take it out.

Take it out right away as if he eats any of the fabric he could get a blocked bowel just like wih fluffy bedding.
We never allow our guys to have fabric unsupervised or leave it in the cage.

Peggy rips her fleecy hammock but i find the fluff on the hammock so she doesn't eat it. Should i remove that just to be safe?

Bertie had one and he wrecked it pretty soon after. Never 'Snuggled' in it once.....waste of money.....he would rather snuggle in my fleecy dressing gown on my lap....Ahhhh.

Re: Ripping a snuggle pouch to shreds?
Mine love theirs, although they do have to have one each, as if they smell the other one on it that's when they start ripping. They do only have supervised use though, and I give the bag a little poke if they rip it which sends them scurrying out! They do have a good snuggle down in them too though, I love it when they sit with just their little faces peeping out aww.

Re: Ripping a snuggle pouch to shreds?
I use a snuggle pouch - well something similiar for getting them in and out of their cages. I don't leave them with it though for the reason of the evil fluffy stuff inside. Mine have always loved having one and its ideal for easy cage access

Re: Ripping a snuggle pouch to shreds?
I made one myself out of fleece which both Peggy and Dot loved as a bed to sleep in. Although it got filled with poo!
they renovated it by adding a hole at the top for a back door. But after that they never bothered to chew it again. But then after i washed it once Peggy for some reason felt the need to destroy so i took it out.
They are nice but would only keep in for a bit
