Exclamation Picking up hammy

So my lovely hamster is absolutely fine with me and has gone through the hole taking process.
Although she is having problems with me picking her up, she will happily sit on my hands with her walking on to them which I don’t mind but she just doesn’t let me pick her up.

Is just letting her walk onto my hands a method as she doesn’t mind that one at all.

How long have you had her? If she's happy to climb onto your hand that's good progress, once she gets more used to that she should be fine with you gently scooping her up, when she climbs onto your hand just begin lifting her gently for a moment, gradually increasing the time as she gets used to it.
