Default Hamster Getting Territorial?

The other day, I opened up a walnut for my dwarf, and she buried some of it and used part of the shell to block the entrance to one of the tunnels she's burrowed in her bedding. Now she buries her entire food bowl under bedding, and she even peed a little on it. Is this normal? Is she getting territorial? If she is, what could've caused it?

Sounds quite normal behaviour to me & I wouldn't worry about it, hiding things or blocking tunnels is just a natural instinct, I believe they sometimes pee on food stores in the wild to keep other animals away from it! I have had a few pee in the food bowl & I just leave it for a while, if you take it away & clean it out too quickly it just tends to make them do it more but you can clean it out when you fill it up again.
