Default Hamster chewing ceramic bowl

Hello.

My russian dwarf hamster has a weird habit: she often nibbles on her ceramic water bowl. I think she always does it around the same time in the morning, because it wakes me up.
Is she doing this because she's bored/unhappy or because she needs a chewing toy? She already has wooden bridges and houses, so I figured she could chew that if she needed to chew.
If she is bored I don't know what to do except arrange her toys differently. She already has a lot of toys (houses, tunnels, a labyrinth, a cardboard box with a smaller house inside, 2 spinning wheels which she both uses, ...), and she has a LOT of space. (I keep her in 3 interconnected cardboard boxes which are completely open at the top. In length it's about 70inches, one third of the width is 35 inches and two third is almost 24 inches.)
Any ideas?

Many thanks.

They do get some odd little habits sometimes & it doesn't necessarily mean they're bored or there's a problem to worry about, they often don't chew wood or toys sold as chew toys though so you could try her with a whimzee dog chew, the small toothbrush one is best, she'll probably love that!
Keeping her in cardboard boxes sounds a bit worrying though, she could probably chew through them & all cages need a lid really, escapes & other accidents happen all too easily without one.

Hamsters can be strange sometimes! if you’re worried about her hurting her teeth them switch her to a water bottle. Please get her a proper cage before she escapes the cardboard boxes! You can make HUGE cages from ikea furniture hacks!

Cypher & Alpacassei,
Thank you so much for the advice!
I will buy her a Whimzee. My previous hamster didn't like it but maybe she will like it.
Also I will look for the Ikea hacks.
I chose these boxes because of their size and the fact that they're easily transportable (I move often, for example when I'm away and bring her to my mother.)
I know the temperament of my hamster, very different than my previous hammie. She's calm and not adventurous. She's been in these boxes for more than 6 months. But I will look for something made out of wood.

Thanks again <3

This is probably the most common one. I have a Syrian in one, with more bedding than that, and a heavy lid (which there are many tutorials for).

This is probably my fave one! The person even used a seagrass basket from Ikea as a "hacked" house.

This is mine, though I've since replaced the wheel for a Carolina Storm and also eliminated the entire sand "area" on the left in favour of a fishbowl which my ham prefers, and has also made cleaning easier.

The reason the lid (window screens from a hardware store) sits oddly is I had it on magnets so the ham couldn't lift the sides. I've since replaced it with a proper lid but had to whip something up quick as my hamster rescue came up.
