Default PetRemedy spray

Just wondering if anyone has used pet remedy spray for hamsters?
It a herbal spray to calm and relax them, you spray it in the enclosure/carrier/on bedding.

I've used it with good success with rabbits and dogs but not sure if it's safe for hamsters

I don't need it currently but good to know for vet visits, fireworks etc.

Those kind of things aren't good for hamsters really - they have such a sensitive sense of scent and things can overpower them or cause respiratory problems. I did try chamomile flowers in the cage once but wouldn't recommend trying anything when a hammy is pregnant xxx It must be stressful if she is so frantic but it will settle.

I agree it's best not to use things like this with hams, while totally safe for some animals hams are so tiny & sensitive it's best not to take any risks.

I have used the Pet Remedy plug-in before and my hamsters didn’t have any problems with it but I wouldn’t want to use the spray in their cages, carriers or on their bedding as I would be concerned that the smell could be a little bit too overpowering for them but in a larger area such as within a room, I don’t think it’s as bad.

The plug in can be a little bit strong to start with so I often move the plug in to another room until it’s a little less overpowering and then move it back to the room I have the hamsters in.
