This thread details how to attach photos- How To Embed Photos. URL are the web address the photo is associated to which can on,h be obtained via a photo hosting website. It is easier to upload photos straight from your device after being resized.

Depending upon the size of cage I would only advise doing a spot clean at the moment (as partial clean are only really needed every 4 weeks or I wouldn’t never recommend doing an entire full clean as this can be really stressful ) as hamsters are fairly clean animals so just remove areas of pee and areas with lot and of poos. Once you cleaned the coconut put some bedding/substrate already in his cage in the coconut so it will still smell like him.
When you are doing any form of cleaning in the cage I would put your hamster in a carrier or a playpen just so you won’t stress him out.

I would also advise not cleaning him out yet. To be honest i can never smell pee from our robo's cage - I reckon most of it evaporates! But he does have a fair bit of substrate in his cage. And as cypher says if they have a sand bath they will sometimes use it as a toilet and you can just scoop bits out of there.

It's more important right now that he settles in. He'll be staying on the ground level because they are basically ground dwellers and robos love tunnelling and digging burrows. So the best thing right now might be to add a load more substrate and just mix it in with what's there already - it'll go a lot longer then before you need to do a partial clean. It's not unhygienic - and he will appreciate extra substrate and settle in easier.

Another reason levels aren't that great for robos is they have fur underneath their paws on their pads and don't do vertical very well! One level is good but they like to be under things and not too exposed generally. The other thing is the height if there are few levels - there can be fall risks then and they're so tiny they could injure themselves if they monkey bar across the bars high up and then drop.

So I'd suggest leaving the first level in, taking the top two out and adding a load more substrate (as much as you can fit in the base - doesn't matter if the odd bit falls out through the bars - or you can put strips of cardboard inside the bars near the top of the cage base to prevent that). Mix it all in with the current substrate. And if you find a particularly soggy bit just take that handful out.

And leave it longer before cleaning the cage base - it'll be fine. Their poops aren't dirty either and they do eat and hoard them (normal - they have two stomachs and can redigest vitamins and nutrients from the poops) so unless they really start taking over the cage just leave them for now. If you take all the poops out he'll feel robbed of his emergency food store!

Just a tip too not to remove their hoard - unless it's soiled with pee - then try and leave some behind and add new food in the same place. They do get very stressed about their nest and hoard, and about clean outs - less often and a little bit each time is better than cleaning everything at the same time as well. So you can just do the wheel as and when if it needs a wipe - but not too often. And any toys as and when.
