I would carry on with just getting him out for a bit of a cuddle & give him a treat before putting him back, if the run & the bath are freaking him out, sometimes with really shy ones it helps to just put them in the carrier with lots of substrate to begin with, short sessions. I'm sure he'll come round eventually.
I hope so, I stayed up really late last night but he didn't appear but he was up at 7am so we got to say good morning at least, I am trying to wake him up now with treats and porridge, I can hear him moving but he isn't coming out
