Default Dwarf hamster not taming down, still nibbling very hard

I recently got 2 new female dwarf hamsters and was taming them and I had a few questions. Mika, one of the females is super sweet and nice. Suki, the other female is the more aggressive one. The first day when I started taming her, she nibbled me ever so slightly and it felt like someone blowing on your hand. The next day though, I gave her the back of my hand to sniff, and she kept nibbling me really hard. I don't want to say biting, because she didn't draw blood, but it was close. I keep trying to tame down her biting, but nothing's working. I tried using thin-ish gloves so that she could still smell me through them, but I would feel the bites less, but she still would not stop nibbling the gloves. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to tame that down, and for her to be a good little fluff ball again? Thanks!

It's still early days so don't worry too much, they often go through this nibbling stage but tend to grow out of it.
Are you taming in the cage or the playpen?
Some, mostly females, can be a bit territorial in the cage so it's better to get them to climb into something like a tube or mug that you can transport them in & interact with them out of the cage in the playpen.
If she does nibble try not to react & just slowly move your hand away & wait awhile before having another go.
From your other posts it sounds as though she could possibly be getting stressed from over cleaning & being put back with her sister in the playpen so if you keep them apart all the time now & keep cleaning to a minimum you may find she will settle & tame more easily.

Thank you so much cypher. I guess that I just also need to be a bit more patient, but my last hamsters were quite aggressive, and I just don’t want the same thing to happen again. I was trying part time to tame her in her cage, and when using gloves today, she only barely nibbled me once while my hand was in the cage so it’s a good step forward. I’ll keep trying to tame her now in her playpen. Also as a side note can a playpen be too big for a ham and cause them stress? Mine is 106.68 cm by 60.96 cm.

A playpen that size should be fine, don't leave too much open space in it though unless you're sitting in there with her, otherwise lots of toys & things to explore.
