My feisty little bar chewer Kashi (rip) had the barney cage, 100 x 54cm which she moved into after living in a small bin cage. I threaded cardboars through the bars every night for a few weeks. I also hid food in an egg box and in other cardboard boxes and would also give her time in a p!ay cage.
She settled after a few weeks and I was able to cut down on the amount of cardboard that I threaded. She still loved ripping up egg boxes!
