Question Hand Taming and Biting

I’m in the second stage of hand taking my new Syrian. She takes treats from my hand when held between my thumb and index finger, but as soon as I lay a few treats on my fingers and palm to encourage her not to fear my hand, she bites.
Am I doing anything wrong?
I wash my hands before each taming session, I tame her in the evenings when she’s fully awake and I leave her alone when she’s washing or eating. I left her to settle in for around 5 days until she seemed comfortable in her cage (I use a bin cage over the minimum size). She has plenty to chew on, and she does so regularly. I can’t find any information about what to to do calm the biting.

Hello, does she bite you very hard or is it more of a nibble? Is she drawing blood and causing you pain?
