Sorry I ask a billion questions, just very curious
Had Luna now for 3-4 days, she is a WW Hybrid (I assume cause PetStore).
Her cage is in my room and I talk to her often. Usually she's hidden in the substrate so I only see her 3-5 times a day.
Last night while she was up I talked with her and knowing that they have bad eye sight I try to put my face closer to her so she can recognize my face/voice.
Though when I did that she made a sort of noise? I assume she felt threaten. She moved closer to me but I pulled my face back and she almost ran off but still was sniffing the air so I stayed with her a bit longer till she darted back to her hole.
Is this a good thing or bad? I'm a crybaby and really want her to get along with me, I haven't messed with her bin since Monday (second dayish, I got her at night). I've attached a clip similar to the noise she made.
I'm sure she just wanted me to back up as the lighting is poor in my room at night and I scared her (even if I am very slow moving). I tried putting my face near her again but she didn't make the noise this time.

Reason: wrong link
It seems like it is just a reflex. All hamsters have little quirks such as this one. Give it time and hopefully, things improve
Thank you, I hope I'm not moving to fast for her as I feel terrible when she makes a little upsetting noise ; - ;
I will try to be hopeful in bonding with her.
