Exclamation Tofu climbing

I finally caught a video of Tofu climbing.

Sorry for the bad quality the light was on the lowest possible as I didn't want to dazzle her and I increased the brightness of the video afterwards.

I added the long bendy bridge to her cage above her rocks, sandbath and log in the hopes that if she falls when climbing she wont fall onto those items and won't fall as far and can hop down on the lower part. She usually only hops down from the lower section of the bridge so I was really shocked when she step stoned off the carrot chew and threw herself off. (Think I'll move the chew so she might be less inclined to do so)

Hope you enjoy the video

Tofu is very agile isn't she!
That is a long drop & she could hurt herself, you could try attaching things to the bars like lava ledges or small wooden ledges & kind of stagger them like steps so she can get up & down without dropping from anything too high.

Yeah I'm going to pop down to pets at home tomorrow and will add some of them to my list. I've also added more substrate to cushion it more.

She usually jumps off the low part or climbs straight down the bars like a fluffy four legged spider so I was so shocked when she jumped from there.

Talking Re: Tofu climbing

I was able to pop down and buy a lava ledge and some other things I didn't actually need (completely forgot to buy mealworms though!).

I immediately put it in her cage and she came out to see what was up. She had a go on the new route and it's so much safer (no longer a fling of death but a couple of safe hops down each layer)

Oh what a shame, forgetting the mealworms. It just means you will have to go back and shop some more.
