Default The jumping Hamster?

Hello!
I'm back again with my love, Gaby, my winter white. I'd say she is completely tame now and clearly seems to enjoy my company. <3. She is usually very keen to be picked up, cuddled with and loves running all over me.

I noticed a rather curious thing today. She's a jumper! Check the video attached below or this link. I noticed her do this about 3-4 times in a 45 minute window. Now, I'm guessing this is her way to try and attract my attention since she seems to be aware of my presence and wants to be picked up. Either that, or basic Hamster instinct to try to escape even from the super massive IKEA Detolf. But in any case, I figured it's better I run it through you guys to make sure this is not something to be concerned about.

Your thoughts on this?

Sometimes hamsters will jump to see something higher up, just like us trying to see over a wall that’s taller than us. It may also be her way of jumping from things. One of my hamsters, a Russian dwarf, launches himself from things and lands on all fours.
All hamsters are different and have slightly different ways of doing things and it looks like this is just one of her quirks. Like you said, sometimes they jump to get your attention. And because she is small, she may feel the need to do this by jumping from things, and they learn quickly to do things that may have caught your attention before. But this is nothing to worry about Hope this helped x

That does seem like a reasonable explanation. Thank you! But I suppose it's probably more of the second reason considering she does everything possible to catch my attention. Haha! She does, after all, love being cuddled with; and food is no motivation either! She completely ignores treats I place on my hand and rather run all over me.
