Picky Hamster?
I think my hamster is a picky eater, but I'm not sure. It looks like she hasn't touched her food in a couple of days, after clearing out all of the "yummy" parts, and I assume hoarding them, as I have watched her go under her bedding with full pouches and emerge to get more. What should I do to ensure she's eating? I don't want to mess with her hoard, as I don't want to cause her any stress, but I will if it is the only option. Are there other ways?

Re: Picky Hamster?
As long as you're feeding a good quality mix then just leave the food & she should eat it once she's finished the best bits.
Don't touch her hoard, they will always keep some there & eat some from it as well at taking fresh food.
You may find there are one or two things she really doesn't like so if there is just a left in the bowl you could put fresh in.
How much are you feeding her? If you put too much food in then she may just take the best bits, it does depend on the mix but most Syrians will eat about a tablespoon of food a day.
If I remember rightly your ham is still very young so she may need more than that plus a few extras.
