Question I'm a new owner and need help with my 2 dwarfs

I just got 2 Russian dwarfs Snowball and Cloud

Cloud likes to run around the cage and on the wheel (do I need 2 wheels?)
while Snowball is just sleeping/hiding (I can't tell which) and when she does come out she's very timid I just want to know if anything is wrong?

Also how much should they be eating and drinking
Thanks for the help

Hi & welcome to HC

It's quite normal for a pair to each have their own characters & one is almost always more dominant than the other, if you only just got your hams then Snowball may still be settling in & gain more confidence with time, if she remains very timid & doesn't seem to be really thriving after a while then it may be that she would do better living on her own.
You do need two wheels, two water bottles, houses with at least two entrances & two bowls or better still scatter feed to allow both plenty of opportunity to get the food they need.
They really only drink a tiny amount, maybe a teaspoon a day at most, they don't eat much more than a teaspoon of food either really but you need to allow more so they can each make their own food hoard & it's generally better to put too much food in rather than not enough with a pair in case one is trying to hog it all!

Hopefully they will both settle in well and be running around and using the wheels etc. Do you have a spare cage or something you could use I case they fight and need separating?

You can make houses out of tissue boxes or shoeboxes and cut holes for doors in them It's an easy way of making a house with multiple entrances. The idea is that one can't trap the other in the house by blocking the doorway (which they can do if they get territorial).

I would try scatter feeding and then you'll be able to see if the shy one is getting any food.
