Default Not sure what to do

So i am taming Hamtaro like usual, we are still practicing for him to lay on his back in my hand. He often frails and sometimes bites my finger. How do i get him to relax to this position and let him know i wont hurt him? I feed him treats while doing it but he often stuffs it in him mouth quickly. Then when i put him down after holding him he either runs to his bathroom to pee or goes to stash away what i give him.
My other problem is when Hamtaro does a bad behavior i blow on his face, but it seems he flinch then ignores it and goes back to doing the bad behavior even when i say No after blowing on his face. What should i do?
Below is the reaction he does am i doing something wrong? We have been practicing watching Erin's animal video.

He looks like he's desperately trying to get away, but he's not biting so you have a nice gentle animal I think.

I would just stop trying, I've never felt the need to hold my hamsters lying on their backs, if he doesn't like it then just don't do it!
As long as you can handle him normally then why worry, if you persist with something he doesn't like then you may find he will get nervous about handling generally & you're taming will go backwards.
Let him climb onto your hands & sit on your hands if he will, that's all you need do.
I would never blow on a hamster, if they bite then I just take a break for a while & then go back to what I was doing, if they bite persistently doing something like this then you know it's not going to be something they like.
There are times when you may need to hold a dwarf ham in that position, for example to check a males scent gland or to check their teeth when doing health checks but if you just get your ham comfortable with normal handling then it's not usually a problem at all to briefly hold them in that position.

I'll stop with that part of taming then, thanks everyone. I also mean in general for example i fixed up a water bottle stand the other day and he is a chewer so he begins to chew on the stand. I had to blow on his face to stop him from chewing it or else the bottle will fall over on him. (He stop doing it now). Then he would chew it and after the first few times i told him no he would go back to doing the same thing.

Please stop blowing at them. They really dislike the drafts!

Every hamster is different and their characteristics can diverge a lot. If a hamster does not like to lay on back in your hand, just forget about doing that. They are just naturally like that. It does not mean they are not tamed.

I have two hamsters and they are brothers. One of them I bought it when he was 4 weeks old and I tamed him when he was still a baby. But still, he only lay on his back in my hand while he feels sleepy or simply stuff food in his cheeks.

If my hamster is doing something incorrect, I will simply make my voices "rougher" and they will notice it and I will give them some treats or play with them in my hand to switch their attention.

Please, do not blow at them. Hamsters can get frightened easily and they will not trust you if you continue to do that.

No blowing on hammies please! It is very unpleasant for them and they will take it as a hostile thing - it will making taming harder and cause trust problems. There are no bad behaviours for hammies - they are just being hamsters! They like chewing. Sometimes if something is chewed it needs replacing. Sometimes you need to observe as they can be trying to tell you something (eg the water bottle isn't working or something). Lots of hammies chew everything in sight! Some hammies are more discerning.

Just be kind and gentle and talk gently and have patience and your hamster will learn to love and trust you. It's important they are allowed to have normal behaviours such as chewing, digging, foraging and even peeing on their hoard. They do that to deter you from stealing it. They are very clean, tidy little creatures really. A bit contrary and cheeky sometimes, but that is all part of their charm.

I have found hamsters positively dislike being held on their back. All they need is a bit of time to get used to a gentle touch and some patience and familiarity with your scent and voice.

Give him cardboard toilet rolls to shred if he's a chewer! Plus chew sticks. Unfortunately he won't make the link between chewing the water bottle stand and it causing the water bottle to fall over, so there isn't much point trying to stop him. If you have a tank you can use strong velcro to attach a bottle to the side instead of a bottle stand.

So agree with what's been said.
Some hamsters take longer when it comes to taming, it's important that you go at your hams pace, going too fast or trying to get them to do something they don't want to do can make them anxious.
