Re: My new Robo is nowhere to be seen!
Do you mean tubes?
I'd avoid using them as Milo will use them and could block both ends to prevent you getting access, also they're harder to clean and can become very smelly.

I went with kitchen roll tubes and didn't bury them. Milo (now Benjen) uses them as a super-tunnel from one end of the tank (where his house is) to the end where his food is. He doesn't sleep in them though and if he pees in them I can just replace them. He is beginning to scurry around a bit around the tank so he is definitely getting more brave.

Re: My new Robo is nowhere to be seen!
Just wanted to thank everyone for their kind reassurances while Milo (now Benjen) was settling in. He is zooming about now exploring every corner of the tank and we are both very happy.

Good to hear! Patience is super difficult when you just want to make pals with your new ham but it's worth it in the end

Heroic Game of Thrones character and I think it's a sweet name. Milo is his name from his previous owner.

Re: My new Robo is nowhere to be seen!
Ah I see, I have watched quite a lot of GOT, but not since the end of season 5 I think. My faves are Oberyn Martell and the Hound. But if I was going to name a hamster it would be Tyrian or Samwell who I also liked a lot

Re: My new Robo is nowhere to be seen!
Aisling, I'm glad that Benjen is doing well and getting braver each day. I have never seen any of the GOT episodes, but I've heard this is an excellent series. I love your fluffy's new name.
