Why is Bambi licking my hand?

Hi everyone, I haven't posted in what feels like forever.. Bambi is doing pretty good he's been his usual cheeky self.
The last few weeks whenever I've put my hand in his cage hes started to lick my hand, I know it sounds really weird it's really confusing me!! It's not like obsessive licking it's really gentle to the point that I can hardly feel it. I haven't started using anything different and I always wash my hands before I handle him.
He just sits there for a few seconds licking my hand and then he will either crawl on or just walk away, it's really strange especially since he doesn't do this to anyone else- he'll sit and let them pet him or maybe he'll nip their hands but he doesn't lick them. What does it mean??

When they do this it is because they like the salty taste. It’s quite sweet.

Cotton (males) does this a lot, but Daisy (female) doesn't . They are both Syrians

I, too, think it is probably due to the salty taste.

Harvey does this if I've given him a treat, he'll pouch the treat and lick my fingers. It's rather cute.
