Default Taming

Okay so taming had taken a while but Mabel finally climbed onto my hand and allowed me to lift my hand with her sat on it

Tried again today with the trail of seeds technique and everything was going fine until I lifted her slightly, lowered my hand and she tried to bite my finger

Luckily it didn't bleed but just wondering if this behaviour is normal?

When should I start trying to scoop her up?

Default Re: Taming

Just get her used to sitting on your hand for a little while, if she's comfortable with that then very gradually begin lifting your hands slightly, the bite may have been because she could still smell food or she may have been a bit nervous but just keeping trying & she should be fine.
