Default Stressed hamster?

Hellooo
I'm a new hamster owner and I have so many questions.
So I have a robo hamster and every time after I clean his cage (today i just removed some parts of bedding because of his pee) and after ithe was done he runs around his cage and seems like he doesn't like the fact I cleaned it. He wouldnt even come back to his house with his beding in fact he is making a new bed. Is he stressed and why, what can i do to make him less nervous?

Cleaning is one of the most stressful things for them, a little stress is inevitable but if you do as little as possible they usually settle down soon enough again afterwards.
You can try putting a little tray with chinchilla sand in the pee spot & he may pee in there which makes things even easier.
Or he may take to peeing in the sand bath.
Try to spot clean the place where he pees every couple of days, just take out any damp substrate, he should soon get used to that & not get upset by it.
Keep any other cleaning to a minimum & only do partial cleans, how much & how often will depend on the size of your cage, smaller cages do need cleaning more often but even so just a partial clean every few weeks or less should be plenty.
Other than where they pee it really doesn't need cleaning much at all.
If you clean the nest area always put some of the old nest back & the same goes for the food hoard.
Try not to interfere with the cage any more than you have to, don't move things around or change things.
To begin with just having the scent from your hands left after cleaning can unsettle them a bit but they do get used to it so try not to worry too much.

Maybe he's being a bit territorial, he knows you've been in his cage and it makes him want to run around checking everything. He'll be able to smell wherever you touch.
Maybe it will help if you just tidy up the wet bedding and stuff one corner at a time and try not to touch much of the furniture until you two have spent more time together.
I have known couples of humans like that.

I had to disturb Esmeralda's nest yesterday to extract some fresh food that was mummifying (!) and, although I put all the dried snacks back and I didn't take away any of the bedding, she has taken the hump and gone to live in the burrow under her digging area.
Up till now she has ignored this completely, apart from a cursory inspection the day I set it up. In the photo you can see the house she moved out of about two weeks ago when the weather here really warmed up.

What did you use to clean? A lot of these sprays for small animals are strong and can take away their scent.
I use warm water and if I need to use a cleaning agent, I use Simple soap and a toothbrush.
