Princess doesnt want to leave her bed!

I am just wondering about hamster sleeping habbit? Pickles is now coming up about 20 months old, as the temperature has dropped the heating is on and she is as snug as a bug in a rug! She does not want to get up!! Is this an age thing but when she is out she is wild! Or just her saying I’m comfy leave me alone Mum! If I go an speak to her she sniffles and snuffles at me pokes her nose out and then goes right back in!
I did a health check other day all fine few of the old timer symptoms happening but everything else fine!

Just wondered if this was normal! Is my princess getting old!

It's not unusual for them to spend more time in bed during the colder darker months & she is a good age now so may well begin to show some more signs of ageing.

I completely agree with cypher. It is entirely normal and nothing to worry about. Are you sure she doesn't get up when your asleep?

No I’m a bit of a night owl and can usually hear her either running or messing around but lately she is just enjoying her bed! As you said cypher she is getting old so fully starting to slow down! Thanks for the advice glad it’s nothing to worry about just her being normal ( well as normal as can be wit her attitude towards me) she has such a character!
