Squeaking
I woke up to Daisy squeaking this morning. I'm scared to look in her nest. I've had her a fortnight now, but she's quite an old Hammy .hopefully she'll be running around as normal later.

Re: Squeaking
She might just have been dreaming
Our dwarf sometimes sounds like the world is ending when she sleeps. It is a little unsettling but she wakes up and looks at us like "what are you looking at?!?"

Re: Squeaking
I have heard my hamsters squeak from their nests in the past. They appeared to be asleep, so I figured they were dreaming. It's probably nothing to worry about. If you think she could be hurt, I'd check just to give yourself some peace of mind.

Re: Squeaking
Hope Daisy is ok, it does sound like she could just be dreaming but as AP says if you're unsure just have a check on her They can make some funny noises when they're sleeping. Artie sometimes sounds like he is a frog when he is fast asleep so who knows what he is dreaming about, maybe he is dreaming for the princess to kiss him so he can turn in to a handsome prince
Let us know how she is Ruth

Re: Squeaking
Thanks for your posts and I think you must be right, luckily for me and my ham., I've been worrying about Daisy while at work. But she could be heard rustling deep in her burrow just now . Looking forward to a hammy cuddle when she's fully awake. She must have been dreaming about something quite scary, like eagles or snakes.

Re: Squeaking
Hello, sorry I just wanted to ask something. Its my first time having hamster and I have a 2months old robo hamster. Today he was running on his wheel and I was going to sleep and heared him squeaked and it was pretty loud. I went to his cage and he was okay and he was just going to his bed. He never squeaked before...so i just want to know why do hamsters do that and does his squeaking means something? (Sorry, my english is bad haha)

Re: Squeaking
Usually it is nightmares. Zelda once scolded her wheel though.. Don't know what it did to deserve it
